Welcome to GS Supplies who have taken over the retail part of the business previously run as Westernsteam supplies

The business has been taken over by Geoff Stait, a person who has many years of experience in the model engineering field, having been Chairman of the Birmingham Model Engineering Society, and also in the retail side of model engineering supply. Geoff's aim with the business is to build it up to supply as much of the needs of the model engineer as is possible. In fact, if you have any problems getting something to make you life as a model engineer easier, do not hesitate to call us, we may be able to help.

We are able to supply castings for some of the popular designs and the pattern bank is increasing on a basis of need. We can also offer, when appropriate, a service where we would be prepared to make patterns for unusual castings as we have already done for several of our customers
We now carry the "Engineering in Miniature" magazine The range of stock we carry has been increased with Piercing saw blades, scribers, Pipe bending springs, BA spanners, deburring tools, and engineer's marking blue. we also have a new range of globe valves, which will be increased in the new year

In addition, we also have stocks of machined gears for the Allchin Traction Engine in 1" and 11/2 inch scales, both the spur gears and differential gears.

We now carry out a water jet cutting service.
We currently have a full set of 5"G Princess of Wales loco frames and both six and eight wheeled tender frames
